New update: Trevor (TSD's owner) has just come from Malapascua with some more news. it will take longer than a week for TSD to get up and running but we are not sure how long yet. People seem to be fine for food, but water may become a problem soon. Collecting and disposing of the debris is also going to be hard. Chainsaws are in high demand! Also there will be a huge need for builders and building supplies over the coming months as the whole of the north of Cebu has been decimated. Many of the resorts are going to take several months or longer to get back to normal.
All TSD staff, interns and customers are fine. We have set up a "soup kitchen" for our staff and their families and are feeding them 3 times a day, although TSD is closed and they are all busy putting their lives back together.
And again, we emphasise that there are no serious injuries or illnesses that we know of, in itself a miracle. Sorry, but we have no reports on individual people. The electric company had its people onsite today to start reconnection and Globe Telecom, maybe 2 days, maybe more.

有没有知道薄荷岛的情况啊？受灾严重吗？已经预订18号的机票和酒店。在agoda预订的酒店，当时是不能退款的政策，不知道现在这种情况下能不能退款？还有就是cebu航空的机票应该也不能退的吧？哪位大神给指点指点，不甚感激！！！

这次台风确实比较厉害，丝瓜岛上多人遇难，官方报道上百人。
头疼，定了元旦去薄荷，真不知道还要不要去。。。
