最近要去越南旅游的朋友注意

刚从在国泰航空工作的越南朋友那里收到的消息, 9月15日~10月16日其间不能用旅游签证进入越南. 以下是原文.\

Dear all,

As of 15th Sep 2004 until 16th Oct 2004 (both dates inclusive), all passport holders (except Vietnam nationals) are not allowed to enter Vietnam using Type "D" tourist visa due to enhanced national security for international conference. Type "D" tourist visa will not be granted during this period of time.

Passengers who are holding type "D" tourist visa are required to contact the Embassy of Vietnam or the Consulate General of Vietnam for enquiry or visa renewal before travelling.

Kindly note that only business travel with "Business VISA" will be entertained in above captioned period. The application of "Business VISA" requires company letter / reference and local sponsor / counterpart from Vietnam to arrange with Vietnamese IMM.

昏！！查到越南驻英国大使馆的网站才见到这条官方消息，那里说的限制时间是30.sep-15.oct

D类签证是哪种？大使馆办的和在金边办的各是哪一类？哪位去过的清楚？

VIETNAM: CHANGES TO ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (17/09/04)

Those wishing to visit Vietnam from today until 15 October 2004 should be aware of an entry requirement restriction, due to planning for the Asia Europe Meeting, which will take place in Hanoi between 7-9 October.

Visitors holding Category D visa (clearly marked on the visa itself) should not travel to Vietnam between 30 September and 15 October, as they are likely to be refused entry. This category of visa is valid for 15 days to foreigners whose applications are not sponsored officially or by a recognised Vietnamese travel agency.

Those already holding a Category D visa will have the right to remain in Vietnam limited until the end of the day on 30 September.

No other categories of visa are affected.

刚才在lp的网站转了一圈，各种说法都有，有说已经有人给原机遣返，又有说大使馆一般不发type d的visa.....

不过可以确定的是，visa上盖了d类的肯定有影响，c类的无影响，并不是旅游签证都不给进

看了一下手边的护照，里面曾经用的签证类型是：C1，
是北京签发的。我猜，在中国发的应该旅行签证都是C1。

I am in Hoi an,Vietnam now. There is "B3" on my passport,I got my visa from Guangzhou,Maybe it is better to get your visa from Guangzhou.
