在Mline Bay的Outer reef/ Cheries reef/ Crinoid city都有發現過蕾絲天蠍魚Lacy Scorpion fish!

The Dives Sites
Lawadi
This site is located in front of a 400 — 500 meter long pebble beach. The seabed shelves off at approximately 15 — 20 degrees to about 6 meters (20&apos
then drops abruptly on a 45 — 50 degree slope to 100 meter plus (300&apos
. Critters can be found at this sight from the maximum recommended depths to as shallow as 1 meter (3&apos
- Octopus, Cuttlefish, Lion fish, variety of Ghost Pipe fish, Mimic Octopus, Frog fish, Coleman shrimps, and a variety of Nudibranch. The current here is very mild-to-mild.
Michelle's Reef
Located only 8 minutes away, this location offers 2 separate dive sites from the same anchorage. Going off to the right you go on a muck dive looking for critters such as Ghost Pipefish, Pegasus fish, Lionfish, occasionally Mimic Octopus and a variety of Nudibranchs. From the left you can follow a wall into a maze of swim throughs dotted with small gorgonians. This site has produced dugongs on a number of occasions. Currents here are mild with calm seas most of the year.
Wahoo Point
Travel only 3 minutes away on our 22' punts. Wahoo Point is perhaps one of the best chances of catching a glimpse of the larger pelages. Over the years Humpback Whales, Orcas, Tiger Sharks and more frequently encounters with Whale Sharks, Mantas and Hammer Heads have been experienced. This dive site has a shelf which drops to 16 meters (50&apos
at the point and then plunges to 100 meters (300ft) plus. On this dive you can expect just about anything to appear in from the blue. Currents are mild to moderate with generally calm seas.
Deacons Reef
Deacon's Reef is located on the North Coast approximately 10 minutes away on our 22' punts. This site is a spectacular wide-angle opportunity for photographers. The 10 meter (30&apos
shelf is located under the jungle canopy and gorgonians grow only feet away from the rain forest. This is a truly beautiful reef. An eye should always be kept out in the blue for visits from Whale Sharks, Hammerheads and Mantas. Currents are mild to moderate in generally calm waters.
Barracuda Point
Barracuda Point is located approximately 8 minutes away on our 22' punts. This reef has a shelf which drops to a depth of approximately 100' at the point. The shelf plays host to a variety of schooling fish and can be frequented by pelages such as Mantas, Hammerheads and Whale Sharks. On the shelf critters such as rhinopias and Hairy Ghost Pipefish may be. Currents here are mild to moderate in generally calm seas.
Tania's Reef
A large coral mount coming from up from 140' to just 8' from the surface. Divers are able to dive around the full circumference of the reef with a single tank. The South East side of the reef is littered with soft corals of all descriptions. Large schools of fish feed off this face. This reef also plays host to giant clams and turtles. A strong current often feeds the front face which is why this reef supports so much life. As stated the currents here are mild to very strong. Safety sausage is required.
Jason Reef
This small coral mound comes out of 150' of water. The mound has large schools of Banner Fish and Fusiliers as well as many Pelages. Also on this reef you have a chance of finding the much sought after after Rhinopias or weedy Scorpion Fish. This very healthy reef can be fed by mild to very strong currents. A safety sausage is required.
Cherie's Reef
This is a beautiful drift dive along a slope that is covered with large Gorgonians and littered with large schools of fish. Here we often find the particular gorgonian, Murasela, which hosts the infamous Pigmy Sea Horse, Bargabanti. Divers drop in up stream in the current and can enjoy a casual drift along the reef back to the boat. Fish life here is fantastic. Current here is mild to very strong. A safety sausage is required.
Little China
Typical of over 30 dive sites in close proximity, this coral mound comes up from 150’ of water. Large schools of fish cover the front face with soft coral gardens along the slope facing the south. Both macro and wide-angle photographers can be more than satisfied. This reef is fed by mild to strong currents. A safety sausage is required.
Crinoid City
Coral mound coming up from 120' water. As its' name suggests, this coral mound in 120’ of water plays host to a variety of Crinoids. The front slope of this reef is covered with a variety of black coral trees. Just away from the slope there are huge schools of Fusiliers, Anthias and Jack - excellent for wide angle. This reef poses an excellent opportunity also for some small critters such as Pigmy Sea Horses, Rhinopias and Hairy Ghost Pipe Fish. Currents here are mild to very strong. A safety sausage is required.
Cobb's Cliff
This is a steep drop off on one side down to 150' + rising to 20' below the surface and dropping back in the centre to a sandy lagoon at 60'. The site is frequently visited by large pelages such as Manta Rays and Hammerhead Sharks. The reef has also hosted a variety of macro subjects such as Leaf Scorpion Fish, Rhinopias, Blue Ribbon Eels, Elegant Fire Gobies and so much more. Currents here are mild to strong. A safety sausage is required.
Sponge Heaven
Located on the north coast only a few minutes from Tawali is Sponge Heaven. This dive site has a sheer wall plunging from a shelf 3 feet below the surface to a depth of 350 feet plus. The wall is honey combed with small caves and hosts a variety of sponges. Along the wall you can find a variety of Nudibranchs including, at night, the large Spanish Dancer. This site makes a great night dive. Current is slight to mild.
Coral Garden
Located on the north coast, this site is only ten minutes in one of the small skiffs. This site has a wonderful collection of hard corals most of which are in shallow waters. This site offers both the diver and Snorkeller a great insight into corals. Current is slight to mild.
House Reef (Tawali)
The house reef is best done in two separate dives, one from each wharf. There have been a large variety of critters found at Tawali since we opened our doors. Stargazers, Epaulet Sharks, Octopus, Ghost Pipe Fish, Sea Horses, Mandarin Fish and Harlequin Shrimps to name but a few. Its one of those places that the more you are in the water the more you see. To dive this dive just check with the dive team or contact reception.
Boirama Island
This dive site is located approximately 45 to 50 minutes from Tawali. The dive site is a fringing reef off a small island and has great diving both on the wall and on top of the reef. There are very good corals as well as great fish life. Currents are mild to very strong.
The Mascoota
This shipwreck is approximately 300 ‘ in length; it’s an old bark sailing ship which was launched in 1889 from England. The vessel was later converted in to a powerless collier by the Sydney coal co and towed in to Milne Bay where is sunk in Discovery Bay after springing a leak due to bad weather. The wreck does on many occasions play host to a variety of animals including the large estuary stone fish, wobbegong shark. The bow protrudes out of the water with the stern in 75’ of water the wreck is surrounded by old war litter including live ammunitions. Visibility is not always good around the wreck.
Samarai Wharf
A large pier built over 80 years ago and now has covered pilings playing host to a variety of nudibranchs, schooling fish and the occasional wobblegong shark. A pearl farm business operates from the wharf and used to hang its oysters from the piles. Also found at the site are bottles from all the traders that came to Samarai the capital of Milne bay sometime ago. Varied amazing macro life can be found and strong currents can be present. A night dive at the site is very rewarding.
Guna Bara Bara- Manta Rays
Famous Manta ray cleaning station. There is a bommie in nine meters depth and hosts a colony of manta rays. There is also incredible macro life off on the sand areas; mantas do not always come to the site. Varieties of nudibranchs, allied cowries, winged pipefish, frogfish are present.
Kwato Mission
Incredible macro site on the pier area and channel off the pier. Mandarin fish are present. Night dives here may yield critters such as: pyjama bob tail squids, nudi’s, flamboyant cuttle fish, sea horses, winged pipe fish.
Molly’s Grotto
Off the middle of Irai island in the conflict group is the drop dive a collection of caves, large sea fans, swim through’s and grotto’s. On the seaward is a steep drop off which can attract silver tip and gray reef sharks.
Mikes Ridge
At the tip of Irai island of the conflicts. This sight plays host to a large variety of fish and is also frequented by silver tip and grey reef sharks.
Lunn Island
Adrenalin filled fast current drift diving along steep walls, shark action, massive leatherback turtles, schools of bump headed wrasse.
Deboin Lagoon
Snake pit and reef pinnacles with zebra sharks
Doubalets reef
Hosts a massive colony of giant sea fans, giant clams and a large variety of schooling fish. Pigmy seahorses maybe present.
Pelagic Point
Drift dive with massive fish colonies and often sharks. Grey reef sharks mostly.
The Gap
Drift dive with massive fish colonies and often sharks. Grey reef sharks mostly.
Crinoid city
This site is around a very large bommie with large schools of fish, including barracuda’s and jacks. Rhinopia’s and hairy ghost pipefish are particularly special to this site. Due to strong currents present sometime during the year the sea life is amazingly rich at this site.
Little China
Grade A ++ dive site it’s a reef pinnacle with large quantities of schooling fish. Strong currents present give a good combination of soft corals and fish life giving first class diving.
Wampas
Bommie located south of Duchess Island. The pinnacle rises from 200 ft down. The top of the reef is in 20 ft water with bright corals o top. There is a large variety of schooling fish and soft and hard corals. Sharks are often present feeding in the current which can be strong. Its possible to dive the site in two different areas one static dive and one drop off and drift
Barbara’s reef
This is a small ridge that extends from one of the main reefs located near observation point. This reef shallows out to 25 feet and on many occasions play host to a school of around 150 large barracudas. Also found on the reef are Rhinopias and schools of Pyramid butterfly fish
Observation Point
The seabed is sand and you can see: sand divers, star gazers, ghost pipefish, flamboyant cuttlefish and snake eels.

Esa’la Jetty
The jetty is usually covered with small sardines which bring in predators. Over the years there have been many a photo taken at this sight and entered in to competitions around the world. The macro here can also be very good, flamboyant cuttlefish, mimic octopus, ghost pipefish, flying gurnards, frogfish, demon scorpion fish.

P38 Lightening
The famous single seater fighter was ditched around 1943, the pilot survived but records of the flight have been lost. Aircraft call sign was 2-66869. When the aircraft was found it was intact except for the propellers. In 1995 Chris Carney diving from the Telita, located the propellers. They were recovered and replace next to their engines and there they rest today. There are fishes and anemones on the wreck and crocodile fish and wobbegong sharks may be present. Wreck lies in 27 meters with the guns and nose pointing towards the reef, visibility is not always good due to silty conditions The rare Jawfish can be spotted sometimes on the wreck and Hairy ghost pipe fish.

Double Towers
Located in the passage between Sanaroa and Normanby Island. This reef has a variety of schooling fish, soft and hard corals and can produce Rhinopias, scorpion fish and hairy ghost pipefish. No night dive here due to the possibility of crocodiles.

Wong’s reef
Located between Uama and Urewala Islands is a pristine reef playing host to barracuda and other schooling fish. With a steep drop off on the face facing Normandy Island and a series of sand gutters on the western side this reef is frequented by large pelagics like sharks, occasionally manta rays and turtles.

Ronda’s Redemption
Reefs system from the shore of Sanaroa Isalnd. Reef shallows up to 45 feet below the surface. It has been known to produce great shark action towards the drop off which plunges hundreds of feet to the sea floor.

Black Jack B17 Bomber
Located at Cape Vogal the bomber is intact and sitting sea sand bed. Experienced deep divers are only welcome to dive the wreck as it is in 165 feet or 40-50 meters if you explore it fully. The Plane is amazing to see and is in very good condition. The dive site is near to a village which pilots swam too and were rescued by the villagers. Site can only be accessed during good conditions.
Bomber was found in 1986 by Rodney Pearce. Villagers at Boga Boga village on the northern tip of the cape vogal told Rodney the incredible story of Blackjack was ditched early one morning during world war two right in front of their village and how they rescued all the crew members of the aircraft. There is a shallow reef in front of Boga Boga and then a steep wall to deep water. Rodney dived down the wall to find the aircraft in virtually perfect condition sitting intact and upright on a sandy patch at 48 meters. The dive is not an easy one since, as well as being deep and exposed, there is often current, however the water is usually clear. Calm weather is necessary dive this site. The inside of the wreck, including the cockpit, may be seen and photographed through various openings. It is advised not to enter however since there are many hanging loose wires. Blackjack has an amazing war history which has been traced and the story made in to a film called “ Black Jack’s last Mission “

Keast reef
This reef is exposed but often accessible and the best conditions include a slight current from the southeast. The top of the reef has 5m of water over most of it. Descending the drop off divers are greeted by masses of fishes including great schools of dogtooth tuna, Big eye trevally, surgeon fishes, pinjalo, ocean triggerfish, barracuda and fusiliers. Sharks are often seen silvertips. This is one of the best dives in the Milne bay province for pelagic fish action.
