Could you pls kindly add some brief introduction?
Maybe we can touch its history from this photo...
(I prefer this one.. he he)
i stayed at Cordoba for 2 nights. 16euro per day including breakfast. quite nice.
It looks lovely, what is it like inside? Any photos of the rooms?
What is it famous for? Any relation with Spanish Explorer : Francisco Fernadez de Cordoba ?
Cordoba was once the capital of the Islamic kingdom on the peninsula and famous for its great mosque, along with other things. Definitely on my to-see list.
any pictures from Granada?
dipendra, your pictures are quite attractive. They show us the fascinating and exotic Spain.
I guess your "Cordoba" picture is the Great Mosque, one of the biggest and most famous in the world. Inside the mosque, there is a Cathedral, built after the Christianity's triumph over Islam.(reminds me of Aya Sofia, a Cathedral in Istanbul but later converted to a Mosque after the Islam's triumph over Christianity.) Isn't this all fascinating?
History tells us who are we, where are we come from, and hopefully point out where are we going. It may be boring sometimes to just read history books, but definitely fascinating to see the actual great human creations under the context of its history. You'll see the incredible variety and vitality of human civilization.
I stayed in Barcelona last month. It's quite different with the views. Would you mind that I could paste some fotos of my trip
