实际上, 我要回复你这个帖子的时候, 是点"发表回复"这样的中文的, 在整个界面都是中文的情况下, 老外是不知道如何进来, 如果回复, 如何报名的.
必须在一个全英文的界面, 从注册开始, 所有的指示,标记, 解释等等, 都是英文的, 才能让真正的不懂一点中文的人懂得如何在这里发表言论.
I 100% agree. I do think everything here should be in English, this is the only way to catch the eyes of some foreigers.

But base on the actually status,it seems too difficulity to be come ture due to other boards should be in Chinese for communication.and the cybernetics have no the ability to realize the person who seated on the computer is foreigner or Chinese.
So if want to realize the all english boards, it will be established other address,same as the foreign address.
I suppose this thread is set up for the following benefits:
1) Make it convenient for the foreigners especial those currently staying in China join in activities or get familiar with chinese style outdoors so called la mo. It seems this point doesn't work well, because the access interface remain in Chinese. More than that, most of foreigners in sz are business man, few of them will be interested in outdoors. But, once a seed is planted, a plant will grow.
2) Introduce overseas advanced skills or theory of outdoors kit. The person who has found sth. useful from other web may get articles recommended. It needs every donkey's efforts and enthusiasm to distribute.
3) This thread is very considerate, to provide another language tool for certain type of members to communicate in an alternative way.
4) A screw at the foot of a machine is silent, which doesn't mean it is useless. Actually, webmaster has a free choice to leave some threads lonely. At this point, travelmate, I note your homepage named"solohiker" has also left a lot of threads blank. You don't mind, right?
My website is still under construction. This is quite a good excuse to the fact that I was so lazy. I'll try hard to put more pictures which I took in UK, Germany, Spain and Czech Republic on it. Thanks for your criticism. That's all my fault. However, things are little different here. We can't blame our webmaster for not putting on more threads here. He (or maybe she) at least provided a platform for us to GS (just learned from you). I like this place. It can be a quite good place for our English lovers to communicate. It's our responsibility to make this place warmer and more active. This for sure include our MASTER, who set up this board. To make it long lasting, all those who love this place should contribute their ideas. We need more screws to build a great machine.

All the foreigners in Shezhen I met before are all business man and old experiencd technical guys, so we are in such situation now... Yes, Little Qiunv. We all love MF. I'm also an English lover. So I hope this English board be enjoyed by more and more people. However, I don't think it can do if we just leave it and do nothing for it.
That's why I raised this thread. I hope more people can be here and contribute their ideas to make here a more active and interesting home for us.

I care about this board and I believe many people care too. Otherwise, they wouldn't bother coming here.
To answer your question:
1. open ended question is alway difficult to answer. I have the same expection as any other thread or board. A place to kill some time, to make some friends.
2. Because I have yet to met anyone here, I'd like to meet just anybody.
3. Any outdoor and indoor activities, as long as I have time and can afford it.
4. I don't think speaking English is a must for these activities. On the contrary, I think it'll be quite awkward. I'm more interested in exchanging thoughts and experiences than practicing English.
Travelmate, I understand your desire to make this board a more active one and we all appreciate your efforts. However, I'm more inclined to let it grow naturally, perhaps a little aimlessly. One day it'll find its destiny,whatever that may be.
Maybe I'm too eager to do something for it. Unlike most other people, I became more aggressive as age getting older. If you decide to do sth, you try your best to get the best result. Maybe it's more related to the change of job function.
Anyway, I would like to see that people came to contribute their thoughts.
While a man becomes more aggressive, the other man becomes more confucian.

1)It will be really a refreshment if some good hiking articles from other oversea websites are introduced here which enable us to view what is the opinion of experienced people for outdoors or the life permeating in outdoors.
2)Would like to meet the people for whom I feel good, who are not fussy about the arranged activities, whom I can hike with, whom I can learn sth. from.
3) Hiking, swimming, boating, basically outdoors. Taking meals in restaurants is ok, but for only drinking in pubs, no, thanks.
4) Quite embarrassed to speak English between Chinese. Foreigners' attendance will make difference. But the occasion will be few. Let's take native's tongue.
Wherever the board will go, I will paste. Bitter or sweet, I will taste.

It's quite interesting comparing your answers to those of Yaoji. Seems girl is more selective and boy is more openminded. But I do appreciate your attitude. In marketing concept, it's called target segments. In finance, it's called investment philosophy. In human resources area, it's called principled. In purchase department, it's called inbound material inspection.
All right, stop joking. I found we had some common hobbies, such as hiking, swimming, and other outdoors, like camping. But I don't hate pubbing. For the kind of people I would like to meet, my answer is more like that of Yaoji. Everybody that is not disgusting is welcome. I would like to define "disgusting" as 1) lack of civism or 2) extremely selfish.
I would like to organize an outdoor for our DONKEYS. However, I'm going to Europe in midst of next month. Not sure if I have time to arrange something. I strongly recommend Yaoji do sth for us. It's safer to rely on him than on me
We need an English version website rather than just "Do u hike" in a long list of Chinese columns.

Travelmate has raised very valuable questions, I will find some time to digest. However, there's one thing I do believe, we are all to some extent both mad of hiking and English communication. We are linked here by MF.
To introduce me a little, now I work in GZ and come back SZ at weekends. I have not so many ideas on what we should do next step, but I do want to contribute some to this thread although I'm a lazy donkey. . So If you guys come out some good ideas, Pls include me to make it happen.

I'm currently traveling in Poland. However, rainy days and did not have time for sightseeing. Pity! Probably this is the first time I travel to a country w/o a tour and visiting the capital. Save it for next time.
