6.24-6.26Exploring countryside in Northern Guangdong

Brief Introduction

A friend of mine became a farmer when he got a few acre of land in his hometown -- DongFeng county in Northern Guangdong province. He grew different type of vegetables and also built a fish pond. The village is surrounded with mountains and rivers with striking natural beauty and surprising ecological diversity. My friend BenBen will host us to enjoy the real country life. Activities will include hiking, swimming, cherry and vegetable picking, cooking and partying.

We'll camp in the village, so tent and sleeping bags are required.

Time: June 24-26

Level of difficulty:standard

Place to Gather: Southern gate of Stadium

Transportation: bus

Expenses: All public expenses will be shared by the team. Transportation is about 110RMB/per person.

The route:

D1 6.24 leave ShenZhen at 7:00pm and arrive at midnight, camping

D2 6.25 hiking to Tian Luo village, supposedly a gorgious place, tranquil, bucolic.

D3 6.26 trekking, swimming etc. leave for ShenZhen in the afternoon.

Things to bring: tent(can be shared), sleeping bag, head lamp are required. Food for 2 meals. 2-3L of water.(water can be resupplied along the way.)
