PDV - S.F - 转机往 Los Angeles
走出机场后，就有SHUTTLE BUS A/B/C/G 的等车过道，SHUTTLE G前往最近的LAX 轻轨站，因为我定在HOLLYWOOD YUCCA ST.的酒店要从HOLLYWOOD HIGHLAND(附图)，第一次在IIMPERIAL WILMINGTON ,然后在DOWNTOWN的7TH STREET METRO CENTRE，从HOLLYWOOD/HIGH LAND 出来不远就是柯达大剧院
下午两点到达HOTEL，提前网上预定的(Queen bed with private bathroom)，一大卖点（窃以为，不知道其他地方怎么样）有DSL免费上网，我又刚好代的电脑，挺方便的。

下午两点CHECK-IN， 对面的7-11买了张USD5电话卡，美国国内长途30分钟。想联络一下GRAND CANYON HIKING的事宜，但是时差让我从四点小睡到六点，然后去周围的WALK OF FAME和KODAK&CHINESE Theatre转了圈，无意中问到了KODAK Theatre有一个VISTOR INFO. CENTRE，工作人员提供给了我VEGAS的同事电话，明天还要继续联络一下。晚上在一个提供中式快餐的小店吃完晚饭，回酒店的途中居然发现GREYBOUND（灰狗巴士）STATION，就在酒店斜对街，明天要去问问。

Universal Studio 从 Hollywood Vine 乘地铁往 North Hollywood的前一站下（忘记叫什么名字了），出去就能看到巨大的“UNIVERSAL CITY"的广告牌，一路上坡，Universal studio的钢铁球形标志出现在眼前，九点钟到的，人不多，选择在门口的餐馆吃个早餐在进去。
TICKET USD 89 ( Gate A ) 正常USD 59 ，不想排队多付USD 30，就可以享受优先进场。其中节目不必赘述，直到下午三点多才结束行程。

还是红线，一早坐到UNION STATION，想直接买票AMTREK 12：25火车去ANAHEIM(DISNEY LAND)，然后去CHINA TOWN溜达一圈回来正好，居然需要护照?!?! GOD DAMN ! 没带... ... 算了不要影响心情，先按计划溜达溜达再说，本来想去CHINA TOWN，视线却硬是被左边不远出的大厦吸引住了，不觉走着，照着，这不是CIVIC STATION吗？正好，也算是在DOWNTOWN溜达够了，地铁回去拿护照。就这样，我上了2：00去ANAHEIM的火车，来到DISNEY LAND，其中节目自然也不必赘述。这不，干到晚上从圣地亚哥过来的八点的火车有回到UNION STATION， 还是红线回来了。

早上七点出发前往机场，七号入口是联合航空。飞机晚点两小时，前往LAS VEGAS赶1:30的GREYHOUND巴士往FLAGSAFF的计划落空，下一班在晚上8点零5分出发，凌晨1：30到达，住SUPER 8 MOTEL
MAY-05
早上八点四十到达FLAGSTAFF 的VISITOR CENTRE，那里前往GRAND CANYON的SHUTTER BUS只有两班，8:30和3:30，我居然又错过了。TAXI前往，USD 130 PLUS TIPS (USD 5)， BLEEDING
利用下午时间往GRAND CANYON VILLAGE，在SOUTH RIM上走了2MILS。晚上出来PARK，住QUALITY INN 。了解了BRIGHT ANGEL TRAIL的路线情况。

4:30起床，赶早去SOUTH RIM看日出，6:30开始从SOUTH RIM往INDIA GARDEN，4.5MILS，近两个小时。

I will go to LA at 8th/May. too, maybe can meet you then?
Since 2001, I have been to LA many times, that's a nice city, I usually stay in Lincoln's hotel at Chinese town of Montery Park, there is an Asain travel company(I forgot the phone number), you can join a group for go to Grand Canyon; Las Vagas... the cost maybe is USD280 for 3 days.

It really depends what you want to do and where you want to stay, hotwire.com and yahoo.com has some pretty cheap rooms and may be closer to some areas you may want to visit. Lincoln hotel is an option if you want to stay close to the chinese area and want to live in an ashtray,
Disneyland is interesting and so is universal studio.
After you land here in LA, you can find ads in the chinese paper for tour to Grand Canyon and LV, should be pretty cheap.

May-04 fly from L.A. to Lavs vegas
Can i find bus bring me to Grand Canyon (or any town/city that suggested?? near the tour attraction i should go first? and how long it will take from hither to thither )
May-05/may-06 Dreaming trekking & watching sunrise and sunset in Canyon area
May-07 - Bus back from Canyon to L.V. ( hotel booked in MGM - bizz )
and from that on , no worries , i will be with a lot of ppl on my bizz traveling.
