Hello, the season in the Similans ends in the middle of May.
Then we will be going to Koh Tao to do liveaboards and dive courses
from May til November, then we come back to Phuket again.
This year in May the weather was strange, usually there is no wind in
Koh Tao then, so no waves, and no seasickness!! I cannot say
for sure, but next year it shouldn't be like that. One option is
to take seasickness pills.....Right now the monsoon is affecting
the Koh Tao side..Gulf of Thailand.. and over here in
Phuket the weather, water, are clear..and FLAT
I am not quite sure your answer.
1), You mean, in the May 2007, the weather in Similan will be not perfect, it could be infected by winds and visibility could be bad.
2), Usually, the diving season will be end at middle of May in Similan, so there will be possible to dive in the May holiday with good condition.
3), Seasickness is possible in Similan

Right now we have one boat, the Sampai Jumpa, and we will have
a bigger boat, which is just being finished in Indonesia, soon, the
Sampai Jumpa Lagi.
Chartering for Sampai Jumpa is a set cost of 1000 Euro per day.
For this season 7 nights 8 days would cost 7000 euro.
Maximum charter capacity 11 people..

Diving from this boat is a real experience..
We only go to dive sites when nobody else is there.
And, we go sailing as well.
The Lagi will have its own speed boat for wakeboarding and other watersports..

We have a trip leaving on January 30..
This trip is actually a 10 day trip to Koh Pi Pi, including Hin Daeng Hin Muang, where it is peak Manta Ray and Whale Shark season.
From there we head to Surin islands and Similan Islands.
YES, we can help you book hotel rooms for those days
and can also arrange transfer to and from the airport...
If this is too long we can arrange a transfer to the boat.
But we will offer you the full 10 day trip for the same price as the
8 day trip which is 899 euro instead of 1000 euro.

I just got back from the Sampai Jumpa
had 10 guests on board.
A beautiful trip to the Similan and Surin islands
Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and THREE dives at Richielou Rock
with 25 metre visibility and only one other boat on site.
I spent 40 minutes diving with Manta Rays, incredible...
We also went sailing, had the sails up...
Looked at other people in tin can liveaboard boats
and said lucky us....
Truly incredible experience .. If only I could
figure out how to post photos.......
Still more places for end of January, if enough people book
will offer 10 day trip for the price of 8 day trip, but the boat will fill up fast
