Please respect and honour your instrctor but not give a money measurment. He or she held your life for some time, am i right?

You are right, it is not something you could measure by money, and hence you shouldn't use the price to
choose an instructor. But believe me, many instructors barely survive on their income, they do it
for the love of teaching people to dive(many). Most of your fee goes to the dive shop...sometimes they
appreciate a tip, it might mean they can afford their rent.
I guess the reason for Chinese being more expensive... and I am not saying I agree with that..
Is that the class maybe smaller than usual, so their income less, I guess the attitude behind saving money
is the same as making it.. Respect for your instructor might not be asking for a discount,
but of course, you are right.
Respect and love of the ocean is what makes us do it.
To have a student that continues to dive after they leave you is a beautiful success.

No matter the instructor is Chinese speaking or non-Chinese speaking, white or black, yellow or brown, he or she should have a reasonable income. I am not saying Chinese speaking should have a higher price. Most of the instructors are educated, bi-lingual at least, they can put on their ties and have a higher pay job. They teach because they love this activity and love to bring people to explore our inner space. They scarify a lot. They give you laughter a lot. They teach, look after, take care of, rescue, holding life. Shouldn’t their income lower than whatever kind of instructor or coach on earth? Even an instructor teaches for free, students should appreciate and give many thanks for return. Such a price may not be an arm length transaction or may be a bargain after bloody negotiation and should keep it as a gift and should not announce the gift to the public. Such kind of information will ruin the diving industry.
There is only a limit of Chinese speaking instructors out of China. This species of animal should be under protection. Thousands of non-English speaking Chinese are waiting to learn diving in the near future. Hundred of opportunity, cheers, fortune will be cut if a Chinese speaking instructor is cut. Help their heads please.
Low price is what we want but a throat cutting competition is really a killing in arena.
I can’t accept a OW course excluding book and c-card cheaper than a 5 dives package. I mean it, not kidding. Most people here know how much a fun dive is. They are not brainless and will know how poor the instructor is.

沙巴要比泰国便宜500人民币而且教的比泰国负责多了。
楼上的是什么时候考的OW？我的OW 是在Scruba Junkie 学的，最大的好处是学完课程后可以去Sipadan潜水，而且同样可以享受三天dive 9折的优惠。我前两天课程的dive 也算进去了。最后一天潜Sipadan的价格是270 RM + 40 RM(admission fee),三潜。
2月13号刚在詩巴丹学完OW课程，一个教练带两个学生。而且我运气特别好，buddy的朋友就在潜水店做dive master，所以实际享受的是一个教练加一助教的待遇，相当于一对一了。哈哈！
因为没有游泳池，confined water skills也是在海里教授，所以原本只有4潜，在这里就成了5潜，而且第一次下水就见到了海龟。
我跟你的情况几乎一样，所有的课程都是在海里进行的 sapi island。 而且我们也是两dive instructor只代我们两个人。

你是指sipadan 还是ssi.
如果是前者，这里很多贴都有介绍。
如果是后者，你可以上ssi的网站，找到它在东马授权的潜水店网站。再电邮问一下就行了。应该有中文的教练，即使没有，潜水店真的 想做生意的话，找个会中文的padi教练，几天就可以考个ssi牌了。好像有个叫“我本马路边”的人，今年去考了ssi。你看看能不能联系上他，问问详情，毕竟对于ssi，大家都不是太熟悉，这里多数是padi的。

我觉得SSI不如PADI严格, 我教了个学生 学的是SSI的OW,我教他AOW的时候发现他几乎一点也不懂得潜水,连RDP用的也是极为不熟练.
我以前一起学PADI 教练的朋友,最后考试没过跑去SSI考了教练,那天碰见了他说SSI的授课不如PADI专业,没有很多的规矩和限制
我ow是NAUI, AOW 是PADI， 现在考到了SDI 潜证。 个人看法，潜水会都由他们自己一套教法。。 不管任何一个潜水会， 最终，还是要依靠一个肯负责任和有耐心的潜水教练。学生潜得好坏，80% 都功归于教练。

以后我看到那些超低价钱说中文的华人教练，见一个，打一个，而且要一野打埋墙再反弹再加一脚。
我去了哪里，但没有考，改旅游了，因为学中文要多加300RM，报了兴趣潜水，但潜不下去，主要是减压技巧掌握不好，怕硬潜下去会导致耳聋。
有没有整个行程的介绍~和图片
任何好的市场都不应该是垄断的市场，价格应该是买卖双方协商决定的，而不应该由一方说了算。潜水市场也是这样的。如果潜水教练联合起来控制价格，首先受损的就是消费者－－学习潜水的人，然后，可能就是教练自己。事实上，很多教练不正是受着潜水组织垄断的苦吗！？
至于低价格，相信许多教练反对的原因有三：
1。影响自己的生计，不仅利润降低，客源也会减少。
2。教学质量不保证，日后出事故。
3。有些商家先以低价吸引顾客，然后，再变相提价－－影响潜水业声誉。
对于1，很多情况是这样的。但是，如果整个市场的价格水平降低了，市场的需求会不会因此而扩大呢？从而，自己也得益。所以，我不知道教练们为什么不能联合起来让潜水组织降价而一定维持对潜水的人的价格水平。
对于2， 目前的这种培训操作很难确保培训质量，因为教练既是考官也是教官，大家如果考过车牌的都知道，教官和考官是要分开的，教官教出的学生不能教官说了算，而是由考官说了算。目前也没有任何公正的统计，各个组织的持牌潜水员出事故概率，所以，说那个组织的课程不好是不太客观的。反观padi的学员中，也不是个个是好手啊，楼上说得对，主要是个人和教练。
对于3，商家这么做失去的比得到的多。少数商家这样做，反而会把客户往你那里推。
至于中文教练谁低价就踹谁，老朋友之间开玩笑闹闹可以。如果认真起来，凭什么中国人就要出高价学潜水呢！？而且，从这几年的趋势来看，中文教练会越来越多，所以价格竞争也会加大的。
总之，作为消费者，希望潜水市场是公平竞争的，而价格作为一种重要的竞争手段应该是有参与市场的各方决定的，而不是某个组织或一些人决定的。

能不能介绍几个学潜水便宜的地方？

1。这条消息放在这里已经一年了，潜水事业照样兴旺发达，大家都会根据自己的判断作出选择的。再说，磨房提倡共享互助，驴友之间分享信息是天经地义的，不应该指责，甚至阻止。
2。有人报出低价，之前他也会计算的。至于成本的计算也是很灵活，包括是否将投资成本和利润回报计算在内，教练自己的生活成本（生活在广州，可能2000－3000就够了，但香港就远远不止。）和希望报酬（有人希望能够得到大马的平均小时工资，而有人却想欧洲的小时工资），另外，还有是否得到潜水组织的支持，如果有的潜水组织为了开拓市场，也许会提供各种的支援而且在费用方面也表现出更大的弹性，。。。。。。所有这些都会使成本的差异很大。所以，如果只是从自己的环境出发，可能会觉得这么低的价格不是偷工减料就是亏本。但是，即使退一万步，有人愿意这么赔本来旺下市又有何不可！？事实上，维持高价格对于市场的新入者是不利的，价格对于新的竞争者是十分有效的手段，而且消费者更会从中得益。
3。课程的价格只是消费者选择的一个因素。很多消费者都会根据旅行的目的，时间安排，总体费用等因素来综合考虑，做出决定的。不是都蜂拥到价低者那里去。所以，有的教练价格高照样收到不少学生。消费者其实是很成熟的，不仅会广泛收集和听取意见，也会分析判断做出自己的选择的。
4。价格确实是一个敏感的问题，直接与学生和教练的利益相连。但是，也不应该回避，开诚布公的讨论反而会使消费者更理性。
