国宇航中心（DLR）宣布他们完成了全新的 3D 世界地图绘制，从山峰到山谷，都可以以 1 米的精度进行查看。
TanDEM-X 是由 EADS Astrium 公司与德国宇航中心联合开发的雷达卫星，于 2010 年发射升空，与 TerraSAR-X卫星协同工作，主要任务便是提供全球高程模型。
3D 世界地图
TanDEM-X 创造性地采用了基于两颗近地轨道卫星的雷达技术，这是重绘高精度地貌的关键所在。据德国宇航中心介绍，与其他全球数据集相比，新的 3D 地图提供了前所未有的精确性。

而 TanDEM-X 对地球表面覆盖也是无与伦比的，所有地表都被雷达传感器反复扫描，总面积达 1.5 亿平方公里。
从 2010 年 1 月到 2015 年 12 月期间，TanDEM-X 向地面传输了超过 500TB 的数据。 高程模型的创建始于 2014 年，大量数据经过一系列高效而复杂的处理后，最终生成了这一全新的 3D 世界地图，其中包含超过450,000 个精确至像素的独立模型。

尽管 TanDEM-X 和 TerraSAR-X 两颗卫星都已经超过了规定的使用寿命，但目前仍运行良好。其继任者 Tandem-L 将继续执行任务，通过新的合成孔径雷达采集数据，每 8 天为 3D 地图进行 一次更新。
德国宇航中心表示科研项目人员在网站上提交申请后，可免费使用地图数据。商业用户则需要付费购买高程模型。

按DLR的定义，不出钱的话，都不算。。。
他说的研究者是正儿八经搞学术研究的那种。。。
我瞎编着回答了两三个问题，到后面越问越详细已经没法编了。。。
只有等高手上了。。。或者等再等几年开放下载。。。

From the text part, which you have written so far, we cannot judge the scientific reason, because the ‘Detailed Description’ of your research project is with altogether 4 sentences to sparse. You should describe in this sections in more detail, what is state of the art for your research topic, and which open research questions you want to answer, and with which methods.
