if you are budget backpacker and you don't mind to stay in the dorm, here is my recommendation:
KL: Oasis guest house in the end of paterling street (ci chang jie, i don't know if paterling is corret spelling), next to ba da ling hotel. when i applied india visa in KL, I stayed in oasis for 10 days.
dorm: 12rm per night
single room: 20rm with fan, 30rm with air-con
double: 30 with fan, 40rm with air-com
free coffe, tea and kitchen is available for cooking.
马六甲: sama sama in china town, dorm is also 12rm per night, free internet and bikecycle.
both are good for backpackers. I was in malaysia in Nov and it was said that east coast was in raining season and island was close, please check with tourism information center

去吉隆坡千万别住市区的Tune Hotel。你会发现自己跟睡在F1比赛场地边一样，听到同样的声音。

去吉隆坡据说住金三角地区比较好，比住普都车站附近安全，有人推荐一下吗？
去之前我比较了好多，网评很多GH都有跳蚤，我最受不了了，后来定了Tune Hotel。比较幸福地说市区的那个，恰好给我安排在一个靠里面的，打开窗户是停车场，还算安静；机场的那个也没有想象中吵。就是房间小得可怜！
很多GH都有跳蚤。。。没有这么恐怖吧。。。
我是看到酒店网评的，就是害怕跳蚤，没在其他酒店住过，还真的没有亲眼看见！
机场的Tune Hotel会不会和香港的房间一样啊

热浪每年11月到3月封岛
可以去停泊岛，2月1号开始开放。
市区的住在SENTRAL HOTEL还不错，含双早的！
至少比Tune强！
