I'm Jaime，a American girl work in Kunming, plan to have a trip to Meili Mountain after the up coming Chinese New Year. I'v organized an offroad mpv with a reliable driver, the cost is 400/day,
fuel/toll not inclusive, the driver we pay meal and accommodation for himself. I'm here looking for trip partners to split cost. both man and woman are welcome, I'm sure we'll have a lot funs as well as the spectacular views. Below is my literary.

D1昆明-丽江Kunming-Dali-Lijiang ,
D2 丽江—长江第一湾—金沙江沿途风光—奔子栏—白马雪山—飞来寺梅里雪山Lijinag-Yangzi river (along the road)-Benzilan- Baima(white horse snow mountain)-Flying temple(Meili snow mountain)；
D3 飞来寺观日照金山美景 -- 澜沧江峡谷 -- 明永冰川（往返徒步5小时，可以骑马） --飞来寺 ；sunrise at meili snow mountain-Langcan gorge- Mingyong glaciers (5 hours hiking or horse riding)-Flying temple
D4 飞来寺—雾浓顶十三白塔-白马雪山垭口（4292米）奔子栏—伊拉草原,纳柏海—香格里拉；Flying temple-misty summit 13 stupas –white hors mountain pass-Benzilan-yila grassland-Napa sea-shangrila
D5 香格里独克宗古城（大转经筒）-松赞林寺—1:00 出发 沙溪or 双朗 old town of Shangrila-Sonzanlin monastery, till 1pm, set out to Shaxi or Shuanglang
D6 沙溪-昆明 tour around Shaxi or Shuanglang till 2pm, set out to Kunming

But you don't have to browse such scenes in a short span. Moreover,Naxi Ancient Music,Tiger Leaping Gorge,Ancient Architecture at Xizhou,Cangshan&Erhai...,are all great things on your road.
Maybe you need to spare more time on the trip.

thanks for 南樵's suggestion, I'v been to Dali before, and Lijiang is a quite a generic looking of commercial bars, maybe with a little Chinese elements, so won't pay much visit there, just for one night transit stay.

I'm afraid it's not suitable to visit meili that time!It's very cold and the road to Deqin not good!I came out from there a few days ago.Suggest you prepare more clothes!

TO 冰山来客：梅里雪山现在很冷，香格里拉还是可以去的，主要是去往德钦的路现在很多地方在修路，包括到崩子栏段，而且遇到冰雪天气的话，要注意安全！雨崩很难去的，最多你们能到飞来寺那边！That‘s why i told Jaime to take care!Experienced driver is very important！

i want to know what is your standard of eating and lodging?
for measl, like 2 meats 3 veges, I like Chinese food. prefer standard room as for accomodation. but can get by if not so decent.
