冷风呼啸拉练火龙A线，只为大南山那片美丽芒草花

12月30日狂风呼啸，天寒地冻。磨坊资深驴友召集的惠东大南山之驴的拉练选拔赛就在这天举行。按规定，参加者必须在七小时内走完火龙A线。
December 30, Cold and Windy. Senior Hiker from The Mill called for qualification exercise for joining a hike to Danan Mount in Huidong County. According to requirement, candidates have to complete Huolong A Line in 7 hours.

看资料照片，大南山的芒草花好漂亮。整个山头，清一色的芒草花，驴友走进去，就是唯一的杂物。齐腰近肩高的芒草，仿佛就是驴友游泳的海洋。
According to photo information, Miscanthus view in Dannan Mount is very beautiful. The whole mount is covered just by Miscanthus. When hikers are there, they are the only special subject. The Miscanthus are tall to the waist or as tall as the hikers. Seems hikers are swimming in an ocean of Miscanthus.

忍不住大南山的美丽，虽然元月一二号能否抛家弃子出驴还不知道，30号我还是毅然空降拉练，以做好出驴大南山的充分准备。
I can not beat that beauty. Although I was not sure if I could leave the family behind to joint the hiking group on Jan. 1 to 2, I made up my mind to joint the qualification exercise on Dec. 30.

我提前赶到猪仔山脚的士多点，居然是第一个到达。最后来拉练的新驴友只有半打人。原来很多相熟的强驴，他们是不参加拉练也可以通过选拔参加驴行的。
I arrived the store at the foot of Baby Pig mount early. It turned out I was the first one to arrive. Finally there were only half dozen to join. It turned out that many stronge hikers who know the organizer do not need to joint the exercise. They are qualified by the orgainzer by their past experience.

参加选拔的驴友个个都强悍无比。作为老驴，走个八九个小时，走它三五十公里我是没问题的，但高速赶路，快速攀升陡坡却是我们最怕。
All are stronge hikers who came for the qualification. As an experienced hiker, I have no problem to hike for eight or nine hours or for theirty even fifty kilometers, but hiking in high speed, and climbing up too steep slope are what I hate most.

看着强驴们的背影，冲上猪仔山顶，我已经累的上气不接下气了。这时肚子又不争气，非要来大的不可。我只好对等候的强驴撒谎说，这一路我很熟，我追得上就追，追不上我就见机下撤了，你们不用等我的。
I followed those stronge hikers and hiked up to the top of Baby Pig mount without break. It had been too rush and too tired for me. My stomach was not helping by then and wanted to piss off. I had to tell the stronge hiker who left behind for my catch up that I know the line well and asked them not to wait for me. I would either catch them up or withdraw accordingly.

之后便是一个人在狂风呼啸的山脊上‘飞奔’。我走过一次火凤线，到凤顶后便凭感觉走右边的下山路往筲箕窝水库尾部方向去了。到山腰，水泥步道左转，有驴道顺山脊前行。我凭感觉走对了，一直顺驴道直行。
Then it’s a rush run on the ridge in the cold wind. I had one hiking before on Huofeng Line. After the top of Fenghuang(Phenix), I turned to the right step way to get down to the end side of Shaoji Reservior. On the waist, the step way turns left, and the hiking way continues further on the ridge. I was right and kept forward by the hiking way on the ridge.

到了一个很低的垭口，有驴道往左。凭感觉我判断那是去水库的路。于是继续前行。登上一个山尖瞭望休息了一下准备继续前行。心想那大足球就在那山顶上，朝那个方向走早晚能到龙洞森林公园那边。
There is a branch to the left at the lowest pass. I could tell that branch would lead to the end of Shaoji Reservior, thus I went straight forward and reached a peak for rest and sight seeing. Seeing the Big Ball on top of the tall peak, I thought I could reach Longdong Forest Park sooner or later by hiking to that direction.

这时迎面来了三个黄埔的驴友，就象他们打听华南第一坡的走法。他们叫我回头，说跟他们走能到第一坡那里。很是诧异，我已走过了头！
By then 3 Huangpu Hikers came from the other direction, thus asked them for the direction of No. One Slope in South China. They asked me to turn arround and follow them for the No. One Slope. Quite surprized, I had passed it.

于是随他们回头，从刚才那个最低的垭口下去，进了空置的华立学校，保安开门我们出来，去到水库大坝。黄埔的驴友指路让我过大坝，去到广州医学院那边再问人去华南第一坡的路。
So I followed them, and by that branch in the lowest pass, we arrived Huali Private School in idle, and the security opened the gate for us to come out and arrived the dame of reservior. Huangpu Hikers asked me to cross the dame and asked for more direction when I arrived campus of Guangzhou Medical College.

去到那边感觉要问人的时候，有一个独行强驴在去龙洞，于是跟上走了一段。连路都不用问就走上了西坑那条古道上山。才跟了十来分钟，就被他甩掉了，但凭感觉，我就攀登了华南第一坡，走到了十号界碑，日军碉堡，过大足球后找到右边的驴道离开公路进入龙脊驴道。
When I arrrived and just felt I need to ask for direction, a single stronge hiker cought me up for Longdong direction, so I followed him to get into the old road in Xikeng for the No. One Slope. For just ten minutes or so, he left me behind again. Just by a common hiker’s sense, I hiked through No. One Slope, No. 10 Boundery Mark Stone, The Janpanese Blockhouse, and found the hiking way on Longdong Ridge after passing the Big Ball.

在到十号界碑前一点有一条很成熟的驴道，我们差点往那里走了，但它是向下的，且方向不对。后来想明了，那应该是华南第一坡的背坡。如果我不随黄埔驴友回头，我是会从那里上去的。
Just before No. Ten Mark Stone, there is a good hing way branch to the right. I almost got in there. It is a way to go down, and also on the wrong direction. I understand later that it’s the North Side of No. One Slope. If I did not return with Huangpu Hikers, I should get up from that way.

在碉堡处碰见一对好驴友在那里避风吃午饭，我也在那里吃饭趁机打听一些前面的路况。我们互换了水果吃。虽然是陌生人，在野外相遇，也倍感亲切。
In the Janpanse Blockhouse place, I met two hikers having lunch there. I jointed them on the sheltering side for lunch and asked them for direction ahead. We exchanged fruits. Although strangers, we felt familier in the wild area.

在大足球处和两位驴友分了手。自己第一次到那里，当然周围走走，撒泡尿做个记号。
I departed the two hikers near the Big Ball. It’s my first time there, I certainly like to spend some time there for sight seeing, and piss off to mark my present.

后来顺利找到离开公路的龙脊驴道。左边见到起码两条路线往下去，但时间尚早，就一直在山脊上走。凭感觉，那山脊最左边的龙尾在三保墟。我已经做好离开火龙A线走到胡汉贤校长墓道，省公安制证中心那里了。
I later easily found the hiking way on Longdong ridge to leave the main way. I saw two hiking way on the left side for going down the valley, but time was still early, I kept walking on the ridge. By my sense, if I kept walking the far left ridge, I could reach the end at Sanbaoxu Market. I had prepared to leave Huolong A Line, and reach the far end at Sanbaoxu Market where President Hu Han Xian’t tomb and Provincial Certification Label Maker are located.

不巧刚过了输电铁塔不久，迎面来了四个大源上来的大学生。聊了一会，就决定和他们一起走去龙洞28路车站那里了。
But I met 4 unidersity students from Dayuan just after the Power Tower, and after a little chat with them, I decided to go with them for No. 28 Bus Terminal at Longdong.

随他们顺水泥步道下山。下完很陡的水泥步道，才后悔没在山脊上继续走。
I followed them to go down by a step way. After coming down from the steep step way, I regreted for not keep going by the ridge.

下到最底下，他们去一个小水库玩。水库背后那一片采石遗址，让人浮想联翩。
After arrriving the bottom, they went for fun near a little reservior. The Broken Ridge behind the reservior is amazing.

我顺大路往外走，去到28号车站才三点钟。连吃饭观光，总用时五个半钟头。
I walked outward by the road, and it’s only 3PM when I arrived No. 28 Bus Terminal. Total time for the qualification hiking is five hours and a half including lunch and sight seeing.

发几张照片纪念一下，自己好象是个及格的驴子。
Seems I am a qualified hiker. Post some pictures as a memorandum.
