2013年1月，借每年在美国出差的机会，完成了前年没有跟Richard大师完成的Socorro的船宿行程。
整个旅程，真的很辛苦，28个小时的船程，从Cabo San Lucas出发抵达潜点附近，就算风平浪静，也晕到仆街。还好，同船的各种美国、加拿大、墨西哥的朋友都非常友好，支援各种晕船药晕船贴給我们用，才避免了澳洲看大白鲨那样吐足一天。
Richard大师推荐的Rocio Del Mar，是很赞的船，伙食好吃得不得了。了解我的朋友都知道我对吃的非常挑剔，若是能让我称赞的伙食，那真的好吃。这艘船的伙食，真的好吃到想起来就流口水。
在那边潜水，就是大东西的世界。
Manta，每潜都有，不时浮在海面仰起半个翅膀跟你打招呼。你潜水的时候，丫跟在你屁股后面不走；你举起相机，丫就冲过来抢镜头。。。。跟苍蝇一样，赶都不走。。但是俺没有Richard大师的人品，见不到海豚调戏Manta。
海豚，很多，水面上是随处可见，但是在水下，只看到了两次。第一潜下去，路过了一群，还有就是后期的某一潜，下去，一大群，还折返回头来看看潜水员到底是啥怪物。
鲨鱼，那真的是品种多。我是见到了之前没有见过的锤头鲨和加拉帕格斯鲨。而且，鲨鱼是一大群一大群的，尤其是在Roca Partida那个潜点，大流，真多。
鲸鱼，是意外惊喜，都是鲸鱼妈妈带着小鲸鱼不断出水喘气。我和一群墨西哥同伴花了三天时间，放弃了4瓶气，去坐着小艇浮潜追鲸鱼，拍到鲸鱼宝宝水下喝奶的视频片段。
年初，工作太忙了，等有空了，再整理视频资料吧，这次，全程视频，几乎没有照片。
这个地方，大家有条件，有能力，一定要去。

What you can see is compareable to that in Galapagos, but cheaper from what I researched.
I think Galapagos maybe better. But it is too faraway.

Socorro should be much better, but also more expensive. The trip departs from cabo san lucas, a well-known town with lots of resorts. there is an expedition of sea of cortez in June from Nautilus.
Really? As I know, liveaboards in Galapogos price from USD 4000+ per person.. Socorro prices much lower than that..
I was answering the question about sea of cortez. Socorro is cheaper than Galapagos, but more expensive than Sea of Cortez.

I think sea of cortez ( Aug.--Nov. sealion, whale shark, group of mobula ray , relatively poor visibility water, but cheaper rates, shorter duration ... ) is different from socorro ( Nov.--May, giant manta, shark, whale, blue clear water...expensive rates, longer duration ) , I and my frind want to book sea of cortez trip in Sept. 28--Oct. 03, 2013 (http://www.fun-azulfleet.net/lapaz/index.html ) . maybe go socorro trip in the future
